ATV Four Play has introduced its NEW MGC Long Travel A-arms for the Honda TRX450R.

CAD developed for the optimal shock to A-arm motion ratio. The ATV Four Play MGC Long Travel A-arms are for the serious motocross, cross country and desert racers. Whether it’s a rut, rock or a stump this design clearly has advantages over the normal conventional straight A-arm and the “Gull Wing” design.

The ATV Four Play MGC Long Travel A-arms are constructed with only the highest quality 4130 chrome-moly alloy steel tubing products available. The CNC parts are checked and re-checked for accuracy before the manufacturing process occurs. The gussets are all CNC laser cut for an identical accuracy. In addition they are also engineered for exact critical placement locations on our A arms. All our products are TIG welded by professional welders with many years of experience in the motorsport industry.

Most models are supplied with our signature…. white delrin bushing with a built-in groove for a supplied O-ring to be installed, sealing the pivot points in the frame. All models except for the Yamaha’s are supplied with inner steel pivot sleeve acting as a bearing. The Yamaha uses their stock ones with the OEM grease caps. The XC racing arms have a thicker wall in the front tubes to insure the integrity of the arm. This added feature is at no additional cost to the customer.

After the powder coating and or chrome is complete, our last step before packaging is reaming the delrin bushings. As simple as it may sound most other manufactures leave this part of the process out. After the Delrin bushings are pressed into the pivot tubes we run a reamer through the bushings. This opens the I.D eliminating the majority of the drag when you tighten you’re A arms on the frame, giving you the right flow they need for a smooth travel.

The ATV Four Play MGC Long Travel A-arms do not require adjusting the caster. This accurate angle was engineered into the design of the A-arm for best possible performance. However, if you prefer, ATV Four Play LLC offers this as an added option utilizing a HD, 3- piece, Teflon®/Kevlar® rod end for adjusting your own caster requirement. Please note our new ATV Four Play GEN. II MGC Long Travel A-arms for the Honda TRX450R has this option as a standard for this product.

A-arm Configuration

Width: The wider your go, the more stable the quad becomes. The suspension also gains wheel travel when you widen the stance.

Forward: The forward position is determined from the stock location. Depending on the rider, bike and type of riding, some people want to change the forward position of the A-arms to help keep the front end down , balance the weight of the quad or add bite in a corner.

**ATTENTION RACERS - If you are purchasing A-arms for racing, be aware that +3 a-arms on most ATVs may put the width of your ATV over the regulation limit. If you are running negative offset front wheels (4+1) then you may be able to run +3 A-arms. Please be aware of the regulations, know your equipment and do your homework before ordering.

The following configurations are available for this ATV.

Type of Racing

Please choose either MX or XC racing.

The XC A-arms are built using 1" x .120 wall tubing on the lower arms versus 1" x .083 wall tubing on on the MX. The shock mount tube on the XC arms are also made of .120 wall tubing. The XC arms are built this way to endure more abuse than the MX arms.

Choose A-arm Finish

We offer the following finish options for these A-arms.

Choose A-arm Finish:

1" Interceptor Brake Line Clamps

~~ Special Offer - 2 pair for $30 ~~
(When purchased with this set of A-arms)

When we developed the Interceptor Clamps we decided to create a completely NEW and IMPROVED design rather than copying the industries standard, deficient, outdated brake line clamps.

FUNCTION
Where standard clamp designs use only one screw to fasten the clamps, the Interceptor design utilizes two stainless steel screws offering superior clamping power.

DURABILITY
Just like the Interceptor Body Armor used by the US Military, the Interceptor Clamps have a tough protective coating. Interceptor Brake Line Clamps are Hard Anodized which provides a much more durable and abrasion resistant coating than Standard Anodizing. This coating protects the clamps finish from harsh debris like sand and rocks. This means that your Interceptor Clamps will retain their awesome appearance, after even the hardest of rides. Hard Anodizing is used in industrial applications while Standard Anodizing is commonly used for cosmetic applications.

DESIGN
With a completely new and original design, the Interceptor Brake Line Clamps keep the brake lines close and secure to the a-arms, out of harms way.
