TCS / Race Tech Front Shock Race Conversion for the Honda TRX450R.

We now offer the TCS / Race Tech Front Shock Race Conversion kits for the Honda TRX450R. This kit is ONLY for factory front shocks with Piggy-Back Reservoirs.

These kits are built specific to the riders needs. These kits are AWESOME! They turn the stock (factory) front shocks on your Honda TRX450R into high performance racing shocks. These kits replace the stock internal components with high quality tuned components. The new Kits include triple rate springs and only comes with the zero preload setup.

TCS / Race Tech Front Shock Race Conversion packages are an economical way for you to upgrade your Honda TRX450R suspension for a fraction of the cost of new components. Your shock goes through a comprehensive disassembly and inspection procedure. Once the inspection is complete and your parts are ready to be reassembled, and your shock body is back from anodizing (if applicable), TCS / Race Tech begins the process of a complete rebuild including fresh seals, shock fluid and nitrogen charging. A TCS / Race Tech high flow valve body is installed at this time and proper valving selected for your exact specifications. The final step in the process is the selection and installation of the proper spring rates and crossover ring heights for your individual needs. The spring is replaced with either a single rate shock for the recreational rider or a dual rate shock setup for the racer.

The TCS / Race Tech Front Shock Race Conversions for the Honda TRX450R are virtually complete as is, but you may incur additional charges for wear items that need replaced. You will be contacted with any additional charges upon inspection of your shocks.

All shock rebuilds require the customer to ship their front shocks to TCS / Race Tech.

Once you place your order a form will be sent to you via email (please be sure that your correct email address is registered under your User ID). This form will have shipping instructions and a place for you to put your shipping address. Do not ship shocks without this rebuild form.

*Be aware that this rebuild converts your factory shocks into Zero Preload High Performance Racing Shocks. This allows the bike to have a lower ride height (which is crucial in some applications) without losing wheel travel. If you have this conversion done to your front shocks, YOU WILL HAVE to be sure you have a rear shock that is also setup with the Zero Preload setup. If not, the rear of the quad will sit higher than the front (NOT RECOMMENDED).

*These shocks are ONLY to be used with Standard Travel A-arms. NOT LONG TRAVEL!!!

*Be sure to package your shock well and it is advised that you purchase insurance on your shipment. TRAX ATV LLC and/or TCS / Race Tech is not responsible for lost or damaged items during shipping. If the item received is damaged and not in rebuildable shape, we will contact you with options.
