TCS / Race Tech Rear Shock Conversion - Yamaha Raptor 660 $425.00 $395.00

TCS / Race Tech Rear Shock Conversion for the Yamaha Raptor 660.

The TCS / Race Tech Rear Shock Conversions for the Yamaha Raptor 660 are built specific to the riders needs and specifications. These kits are AWESOME! They turn a stock (factory) shock into a high performance shock.

The TCS / Race Tech Rear Shock Conversion packages are an economical way for you to upgrade your Yamaha Raptor 660 suspension for a fraction of the cost of new components. Your shock goes through a comprehensive disassembly and inspection procedure. Once the inspection is complete and your parts are ready to be reassembled, and your shock body is back from anodizing (if applicable), TCS / Race Tech begins the process of a complete rebuild including fresh seals, shock fluid and nitrogen charging. A TCS / Race Tech high flow valve body is installed at this time and proper valving selected for your exact specifications. The final step in the process is the selection and installation of the proper spring rates and crossover ring heights for your individual needs. The spring is replaced with either a single rate shock for the recreational rider or a dual rate shock setup for the racer.

The TCS / Race Tech Rear Shock Conversions for the Yamaha Raptor 660 are virtually complete as is, but you may incur additional charges for wear items that need replaced. You will be contacted with any additional charges upon inspection of your shocks.

All shock rebuilds require the customer to ship their rear shock to TCS / Race Tech. A form will be sent to you via email (please be sure that the correct email address is registered under you User ID). This form will have shipping instructions and a place for your shipping address. Do not ship your shock without the rebuild form.

*Be sure to package your shock well and it is advised that you purchase insurance on your shipment. TRAX ATV LLC and/or TCS / Race Tech is not responsible for lost or damaged items during shipping.

PLEASE NOTE:
Since TCS / Race Tech shocks are custom tailored to each order as they come in, we have a 10 to 20 day (business day) turnaround on all TCS / Race Tech shock orders. The ship date will be set to 20 business days, but we will try to beat that. We will inform you once the product ships.

Shortened Shock Travel

This option is mainly for the TT/Flat Track racers that required a shorter shock. TCS offers a shock specifically for this application. Although the shock uses the standard shock body, they actually shorten the shock travel internally. This allows the bike to sit lower, just as if you installed a shorter shock. These shocks also use triple rate zero preload springs which lowers the bike even more. The advantages to using these shocks is, you do not need to use a lowering kit, you get full (shock travel) suspension travel and best of all you get the quality and performance of the TCS shocks.
